| Description: | Part Time On-Line Moderator with Dutch Maternity Cover - April until October 2010 Job Ref - RW010060 Location - Central London Salary - £8.50 per hour Our client, a successful company providing moderation services to a range of blue-chip clients is currently seeking a part time on-line moderator for an on-going games project. A home based contract role requiring candidates to moderate for 1 hour per day, 3/4 days per week. The shift will start at 8pm or 9pm on a rota including some weekend days where neccessary Suitable for individuals with a passion for gaming as well as strong written and translation skills. Please note this role will require an in-house training period of about 3-5 days, training in-house in central London (paid £.9.50 per hour) Responsibilities - Moderating user generated content in assigned language across various platforms for example blogs, live chat, message board forums - Removing and editing posts where necessary according to specific guidelines - Translation of marketing messages received from client - Creation of weekly reports to analyse trends in user behaviour, user statistics. - Guaranteeing a safe environment for users of the sites through successful moderation Requirements - Passion for and knowledge of gaming - Strong translation and written skills, including knowledge of text language and colloquialisms - Fluency in Dutch (written and spoken) - Strong IT skills - Interest and knowledge of on-line communication, internet and new media technology - Ability to multi-task and manage a heavy workload. - Flexible approach The rate of pay will be £8.50 per hour from home, £9.50 for in-house training This role will be a maternity contract from April to October 2010 >>> APPLICATIONS CAN ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE UNITED KINGDOM <<< Please bear in mind that you may not hear from us immediately.
