German Speaking Junior Games Translator

Language Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a German Speaking Junior Games Translator to work for an international company based in Cambridgeshire specialising in games. This is a permanent role working in the Localisation department.
Suitable for motivated and meticulous candidates with a passion for games and excellent language and translation skills
Responsibilities
- In-house translation of a wide range of material provided by Project Managers. Applying games localisation standards to ensure all material supplied by the company is of the highest standard.
- Updating and maintaining in-house databases and glossaries.
- Assisting with use of glossaries within the company.
- Maintaining translated text archive.
- Supporting quality assurance, control and checking of materials.
- Other ad hoc administration duties
Requirements
- Fluency in German and English both spoken and written
- Meticulous eye for detail
- Experience gained in translation or relevant qualifications
- Strong knowledge of games across various consoles and platforms
