Language Recruitment Services (LRS) are currently recruiting for a German Speaking PR Manager to work for their client, an international digital media company, and their EMEA PR Team. You will be reporting to their Head of PR. This is a position with a considerable amount of responsibility, so you will need to be experienced, proactive and efficient with the ability to use initiative; your duties will be varied and interesting and will include the following:
Main Duties:
- Supporting the PR team in managing and driving the European press relations by working with local sales teams and supporting regional sales targets
- Developing and executing creative quarterly PR plans
- Building on and improving the client's coverage and brand awareness
- Organising and managing successful regional press tours and launch events
- Building strong relationships within the press and media and managing all enquiries, interview and feature opportunities ensuring regular coverage
Requirements:
- Excellent English and German language skills (bilingual, both written and verbal)
- Additional Eastern European languages a distinct advantage, Polish especially
- A journalism or media related degree or equivalent would be preferable
- Solid professional experience in corporate or agency PR (3-5 years with European media)
- Proven ability to efficiently and effectively manage multiple client portfolios and running PR programs in fast paced environment
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal, including effective social media techniques
- Flexible and adaptive to changing circumstances and regular travel
