(LRS) is currently searching for gifted and capable individuals with a background in Media and with fluency in any European language to join their client's London branch located in fabulous offices in the heart of the city.
This position will suit a real self starter who is able to build and maintain excellent client relationships in several European markets. You will need to be happy working on your own and making contact with new clients both over the phone and face to face. A fair amount of European travel will also be required. Assessing client's needs and priorities will be of paramount importance to you and offering them superb customer service and guidance will help you nurture accounts for further ongoing business development.
Main Responsibilities:
*Sales of subscriptions on the European market and managing existing accounts
*Proactively researching and targeting new customers
*Getting in touch with existing clients and editors already on the mailing list whose accounts have been dormant
*Becoming familiar with oneshot advisories and availability letters for various publications represented by the company
*Ad hoc administrative tasks
*Assisting with collections when necessary
*Providing excellent customer service, by assisting and guiding clients with changes in the services and the new websites
*Answering client enquiries
Requirements:
*Ideally you will be educated to degree level, with a background in Media, preferably publishing or a similar field
*A keen interest in Media sales and magazine publishing
*You will need to have outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, as you will be dealing with senior Editors on a daily basis
*Business level fluency in German or French or Spanish or Italian or Dutch or a Scandinavian language is essential
*High level of confidence and poise with an engaging personality
