Assistant Chartered Accountant - Bookkeeper

Salary: 30K to 50K dependant on experience

Language Recruitment Services (LRS) is currently looking for a qualified chartered Accountant with language skills to join a boutique consultancy firm with several offices in Europe. 

Working alongside Senior Chartered Accountants, you will have the opportunity to assist with both corporation and private clients in the UK and abroad. 

You will have outstanding communication and organisational skills, previous experience in UK practices and looking to grow her/his career both technically and commercially.

 

Duties of the Assistant Chartered Accountant - Bookkeeper

- Responsible for updating the Sales and Purchase ledgers

- Maintain Fixed asset ledger up to date

- In charge of Bank reconciliation

- Create expense claim reports

- Prepare VAT returns

- Support Payroll

- Make the necessary CIS & Intrastat declaration

- Ad Hoc administrative roles

 

Requirements of Assistant Chartered Accountant - Bookkeeper

- Part or fully qualified in accounting 

- Previous Experience with UK statutory accounting

- Fluency in English and another European language would be plus

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Good time management and ability to prioritise

- Experience of working in chartered accounting/practice
