Language Recruitment Services (LRS) is currently looking for a bilingual Procurement and Tender Specialist with an excellent level of English and French. The client, based in North London, is a globally prominent leader within the Life Sciences sector.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for answering tender calls within assigned markets, liaising with internal departments to ensure requirements are met, achieve a smooth and efficient process and meat deadlines. You will also be responsible for putting proposals together for the sales team and make sure all proposals are approved in timely manners.

Bilingual Procurement and Tender Specialist – English and French – Main Duties:

 

  • Reviewing tender adverts for potential business leads and notifying the Account Manager
  • Managing tender documents on the procurement database and gaining approval before submission
  • Coordinating with the Commercial teams to ensure overall objectives
  • Responding to new company interest, completing PQQ and PFQ submissions and compliance information along with the tender bids
  • General maintenance of the database, prioritising documents and customer responses, creating new document templates when required
  • Prepare reagent rental contracts and negotiate quotes with customers, using SAP software
  • Handling internal and external communication and customer requests
  • Responsible for the quality of compliance processes, along with company pricing policies
  • Prepare client proposals for the Sales department

 

Bilingual Procurement and Tender Specialist – English and French – Requirements:

 

  • Excellent command of English AND French languages
  • Educated to degree level or with a similar qualification
  • Solid administrative skills and ideally some experience within Bid Management or Business Development
  • Ideally a similar background in Life Sciences or Clinical Diagnostics
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility with a positive team-player attitude
  • Ability to work towards deadline
  • Organised, strong attention to details.
