Language Recruitment Services (LRS) is currently recruiting a bilingual Dutch and English sales executive with previous experience in the electrical or electronic engineering sector to join an international company.

Using your technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skill you will build and grow business relationship with clients and work with colleagues on prestigious projects across the BENELUX and DACH markets

Sales Engineer (with Dutch and English) - Main Duties:

• Identify new business opportunities with existing and new business clients

• Understand clients’ needs and offer the right product range and solutions

• Utilise your knowledge of the company portfolio to raise awareness, create demand and close orders

• Build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and industry professionals

• Participate in local trade shows, networking events and visits to showrooms

• Support internal team with replying to tender and play an active role at closing stages

• Ensure the marketing material, libraries of design and engineering solutions are up to date (brochures, fabric binders, samples etc…)

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues based in Spain and in the European head office in London

• Maintain accurate client records on the system

Requirements for the Bilingual Sales Engineer:

• Dutch to native level with Fluent English

• Good German language skills is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree educated (technical or engineering degree preferred)

• Previous Sales Experience in electrical or electronic industries or similar

• Knowledge of building trade, lighting, residential AV solutions, widow and blind treatments sectors would be a real plus

• Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)

• Great relationship building and negotiation skills with ability to influence

• Knowledge of AutoCAD & Designer Tools would be a plus

• Organised, driven, and able to work independently

• Reliable collaborator

• Proficient in MS office and confident user of CRM systems such as Salesforce or SAP

• Able to travel is essential
