Language Recruitment Services (LRS) has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR manager with French language skills.

You will play a pivotal role in overseeing HR human resources functions within a prestigious bilingual school based in London. You will foster a supportive work environment and ensure compliance of HR processes with employment laws. Responsibilities also include policy development, recruitment coordination, DBS checks, payroll, and benefits administration.

Profile:

  • Fluency in English and French spoken and written is essential

  • Previous UK HR management experience, ideally in education or multicultural environments.

  • Proficiency in UK employment law and HR best practices.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for positive relationships.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with proactive problem-solving.

  • Highly organized with effective multitasking skills.

  • Available to start immediately

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR policies in line with school goals and legal standards.

  • Ensure current HR policies are available on school internal platforms.

  • Lead internal and external recruitment process for both teaching and non-teaching vacancies following safe recruitment policies of the sector

  • Manage the entire recruitment process from job descriptions to exit interviews.

  • Oversee DBS checks for staff, Governors, volunteers, and contractor compliance.

  • Maintain updated contract templates and ensure compliance with regulations in place

  • Ensure Single Central Register in updated at all times

  • Provide guidance to managers and staff on HR matters, including performance and conflict resolution.

  • Collaborate with finance for monthly payroll and administer employee benefits.

  • Monitor and support absence, liaising with external Occupational Health.

  • Evaluate HR processes for efficiency, suggesting improvements.

  • Stay updated on employment law and HR practices, advising on compliance.

  • Manage and supervise HR assistant tasks.
