LRS, Language Recruitment Services is recruiting on behalf of their client a leading international media company, they are looking for an enthusiastic and talented candidate to take responsibility for the day to day operation of their Italian language websites. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to use their technical skills, as well as the talents of in-house designers and developers, to take charge of this important business sector.

Our client is prepared to consider candidates with less technical experience but a genuine passion for web based technology, hence the wide salary range.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyse site performance (traffic v conversions)
Develop innovative strategies to improve site visibility and user interaction
Ability to evaluate and adapt strategies to maximise on current trends
Adopt a creative approach when developing the "look and feel" of websites
Increase visitor numbers, customer engagement and online sales conversions
Essential Criteria:

Fluent in Italian to native standard
Expert knowledge of Italian culture, customs and idioms
The ability to create well written and engaging content
Imaginative and professional approach
The ability to accurately translate content from English to Italian and vice versa
Experience of using Social Media to maximise visibility and engage with site visitors
Desirable additional skills & experience

Ability to write/edit HTML5 and CSS3
Google Analytics & Search Console
Experience maintaining websites plus some design and/or development experience
Good working knowledge of white hat SEO
Digital marketing experience, primarily using Facebook and Twitter
Ability to create innovative strategies which focus on improved ranking and long term visitor growth
Our client is a well-established and highly successful company working in the online lottery and gambling sector. The office environment is informal and you will be joining a small and friendly team!

The company’s offices are in a lovely rural setting just a few miles north of Harrogate, North Yorkshire. The offices are commutable from Harrogate, Leeds and York.

As public transport is not available, a driving licence and access to a car are essential.

Salary & Benefits

£20,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on skills and experience
Discretionary performance bonus based on site and company performance
28 days annual leave (including statutory holidays) plus 1 additional day for each full year of employment (up to a maximum of 5 additional days)
