Language Recruitment Services (LRS) is recruiting an experienced financial controller or financial manager for an international company within the manufacturing industry.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for all financial aspect of the Italian entity and engage with local management team and provide accurate and fiscal reports to support business decision

Italian language skills are required for this role.

Italian speaking Financial Controller – Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the financial transactions are properly recorded and comply with local regulations, Accounting Standards and Groups’ requirements.

• Manage accounting operations such as Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cost, Inventory, Revenue, and all other General Ledger transaction

• Provide analysis of performance against Budget

• Support implementation of group’s policies and purchase procedures to local entity

• Collaborate in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts

• Provide reporting analysis of company’s P &L, margins and overheads

• Deliver financial advice and improvements solutions related to financial performance and cash flow

• Responsible for tax returns schedule and liaise with external auditors

• Any other responsibilities and controller duties allocated by the Manager in accordance with skills and capabilities.

Financial Controller with Italian – Profile:

• Fluency in English and Italian required

• Degree in Accounting, Economic or Financial field

• Solid experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector

• Proven Knowledge of Italian accounting standards, tax legislation and International Accounting Standards.

• Experience using budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools

• Attention to detail, analytical and business oriented

• Confident communicator with good leadership skills

• Proactive problem solver and self-dependent

• Strong MS office skills and understanding of ERP systems

• Willing to travel to Italy once or twice a month
