Russian Speaking Media Translator

Language Recruitment Services (LRS) is currently recruiting for qualified translators / sports editors to help support their team at their office headquarters based in Manchester. You will be translating written and spoken material and working closely with Content Producers. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a globally expanding organisation and to expand your skills. There is also a chance that you can translate from remote locations if you are not situated in Manchester,

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for transcribing and translating content from English into Russian
-Ensuring that final language versions fits the correct cultural context (this may involve the revision of some of the content)
-Whilst striving to maintain the original content and style of the source language in the target language you will need to make minor corrections where necessary
-Ensuring that final versions are well within the client's branding and style guidelines
-Entering finalised content into the Content Management System (systems may sometimes vary)
-Maintaining excellent attention to detail when entering content onto various systems and sticking to the content guidelines at all times.

Requirements:
-Mother tongue level Russian both written and spoken
-Knowledge of digital media/social media of the Russian speaking market
-Experience of translations from English into Russian OR a Degree in Translation Studies is essential.
-A budding interest in Sports / Sports Writing is essential
