Job Title: Translation Team Leader

LRS (Language Recruitment Services) is currently recruiting for a Translation Team Leader to join our client’s friendly international team. The successful candidate will have solid experience in project management/account management. You should have a proactive and methodical approach, with experience in line management.

Translation Team Leader – Key Duties:

- Overseeing the daily allocation of team workload
- Taking overall responsibility for the team’s work
- Supporting Head of Department with management of linguist resourcing, and quality
- Assisting with the expansion of database of freelance translators
- Supporting the team with any issues or queries that arise
- Ensuring team members adhere to project guidelines
- Training of new recruits
- Preparing performance reports and participating in review meetings
- Reporting back to Head of Department regarding project status
- Managing translation projects efficiently


Translation Team Leader - to apply you will have:

- Native-level fluency in English
- Ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Translation Project Management
- Excellent communicator and people skills
- Line management or team leader experience is desired.
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills
- A proactive attitude and enthusiastic approach
- Strong IT skills
- Knowledge of another language is advantageous
