Recruitment Process

Step 1. Placing Your Requirement
An expert consultant, dedicated to your account, will discuss your requirements in order to understand the position you wish to fill and the desired personality attributes of your candidate.

If convenient, a meeting will be arranged at your premises. We believe this to be mutually beneficial, for it gives us a chance to get to know your business and allows you insight into our recruitment strategy.

Step 2. Candidate Resourcing
The search for suitable candidates will begin immediately. Candidates who are registered with Language Recruitment Services will be contacted in the first instance, followed by an effective advertising campaign at no extra cost to you.

At Language Recruitment Services we use a wide network of online and print based advertising, both within the UK and overseas. Our far-reaching strategy allows us to recruit skilled candidates that suit your business.

Step 3. Response Handling
Our advertising campaigns attract large volumes of applications, which are reviewed and then shortlisted.

We arrange interviews at the LRS offices for shortlisted applicants, where a job briefing will take place.

A review of the applicants CV, experience and qualifications is undertaken, before a Language Test is issued.

If required, additional skills testing will be organised.

Suitable candidates are profiled and submitted for your consideration.

Step 4. Interview Arrangements
We will brief candidates on interview format, directions and general advice prior to your meeting.

Following the interview, the candidate will be de-briefed and their feedback will be communicated to you.

Equally, the candidate will be informed of your comments and second interviews will be arranged if necessary.

Step 5. Job Offer
Offers to successful candidates should be made via LRS. Full offer details including salary, start date and benefits are provided to the candidate.

Post-offer references are taken up upon request.

A formal written offer is usually sent directly by the client to the candidate. Your consultant will maintain close contact with the candidate to provide any necessary advice and handle queries prior to the starting date.

Step 6. Continuing Assessment
