LRS (Language Recruitment Services) is currently recruiting for a Senior German or French speaking Translation Project Manager to join our client’s international team. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about taking on responsibility, adept at working under pressure, a good team worker with positive and friendly manner. This role is an exciting opportunity for established Translation Project Managers seeking for new challenges and responsibilities. 

 

Senior Translation Project Manager – German or French - Key Duties:

 

• Managing all stages of translation projects; monitoring workflow from receipt through to delivery.

• Liaising with mainly German and French-speaking clients regarding project scope and ensuring projects are completed in line with expectations

• Sourcing and registering translators

• Communicating clear and specific instructions to translators, keeping them accountable for quality and punctual delivery

• Working with translation memory tools

• Prioritising tasks whilst handling multiple projects simultaneously

• Checking and proofreading of files before delivery to clients

• Delivering translations in accordance with agreed deadlines and in the appropriate format

 

Senior Translation Project Manager - German or French- to apply you will have:

 

• Native-level English with fluency in German and/or French (written & spoken) 

• A degree and ideally a post graduate qualification in languages or translation

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong multitasking and organisational skills

• A proactive attitude and enthusiastic approach
